  I am disgusted by Thonet Fitzroy Melbourne. I purchased a Rybo Siesta leather chair for $3,025.00 last year. I purchased this very expensive chair after sitting on one of two my son had purchased from Thonet Fitzroy. My sons chair was very comfortable, & I couldnt wait to purchase one. The problem with mine is, The leather cushion, although secured by a button, moves back a little & causes the canvas undersling to cut into the back of your thighs. I have had to move this chair from lounge/TV room to a room that is not used. I was noticing visitors that sat on this chair wriggling around, & often moving to another chair. When I questioned them they all said the same thing, not comfortable from rubbing against their legs. This was what was causing me not to use this chair, so, now I have a white elephant. I contacted Thonet, & they were very unhelpful, requested that I email a photo of the chair which I did. They then informed me there was nothing wrong with the chair. How they could come to that conclusion when you cant see the problem, you have to sit on the chair to FEEL it. Obviously they have never heard of customer satisfaction, & after sales service. If, anyone is thinking of buying one of these, I would be happy for them to come & try mine before they make such a purchase. Can be contacted at [email protected]
